Louis-René-Madeleine Le Vassor de La Touche, Count of Tréville, was born on June 3rd, 1745 at Rochefort, on the Atlantic coast.

He died in Toulon on August 19, 1804 aboard the Bucentaure.

He was buried in a pyramidal tomb ,at the Military Cemetery of Saint-Mandrier.
